Glass
petri dishes are used everyday by mushroom cultivators. They are
used for a varitey of tasks, from take prints to growing cultures.
Our glass petri dishes are 100 x 15mm in size and are made from
highly durable borosilicate glass which easily withstands repeated
sterilization (wet or dry). Edges are beaded to provide greater
mechanical strength and offer a way to equally space side walls
of bottom and cover, thereby reducing capillary action of condensed
moisture on sides.
For
easy sorting, tops are marked in blue, bottoms in white enamel.

from polished aluminum these petri dispensing cans will look like
new even after years of use. The wide opening in front allows easy
access to plates. If you use them inside an incubator, they won’t
corrode or rust. Plus, the design of the rack makes it easy for
you to lift the entire stack of plates out of the rack and invert
them all at once. Each can holds 15 plates (100x15mm)

18 dishes (100X10) or 12 dishes (100X15) in two stacks. Heavy steel
wire, spot welded heavily coated with black epoxy. Can be stacked
by means of integral legs. Epoxy coating withstands up to 50 lbs.
(22.7 Kg) steam pressure at 289°F (147.8°C) for up to 30
minutes.

Furnished
with deep-form phenolic caps to facilitate handling and sealing
after autoclaving. Caps are fabricated from a special formula resistant
to the effects of temperature and steam in autoclaving. White enamel
marking spot allows excellent surface for pencil notations. Pencil
marks are easily erased.

Flat-bottom
culture tubes are ideal for mycological and general culture work.
The flat bottom facilitates use with agar slants. The walls and
bottoms are of uniform thickness. The tubes are rimless for greater
convenience in plugging and rack storage. Two-position polypropylene
closures are sold separately. Position closure open for gas exchange
or closed for humidified environment. There is an additional feature
of an internal drip ring which greatly minimizes contamination.

Flexible,
thermoplastic, rolled, waterproof sheet interwound with paper to
prevent adhering. Semi-transparent, almost colorless, odorless and
tasteless. Supplied in 0.005" thickness. Adheres quickly and firmly
to itself, covering culture tube or flask mouths and sealing petri
dish edges. Excellent resistance to air, other gases, alcohol, common
acids and moderately concentrated alkalies. At 70°F, it stretches
200% and returns partially to its original size. At 180°F to
200°F, it softens enough to make an adhesive bond between papers,
cloths, leathers, etc. Supplied in dispenser cartons.
