Agricultural or Mycological Grade Pelletized Gypsum works as a soil amendment to supplement minerals, condition soil, and fertilization. Gypsum adds both calcium and sulfur to substrates and soil, both of which are essential elements for promoting mycelial growth. In addition, it helps to hold pH levels creating a consistent pH for growth without drastic level changes. The sulfur found in Gypsum won’t acidify your soil as it converts to the form plants use. In addition, it displaces magnesium on soil particles making it non-toxic and preventing dispersion. Lastly, it stabilizes nitrogen levels in urea rich substrates and reduces volatilization. It is a must have for any grower.
Pelletized Gypsum is the most free-flowing and fastest acting form of gypsum. It is low-dust and can be broadcast easily if needed.
Our Pelletized Gypsum is sold by the pound.
Care should be taken to keep it dry until time of use.
